Vestmark launched a tax-managed unified managed account (UMA) incorporating private assets. This solution evolves the advisor experience by providing a streamlined process for adding alternatives to a diversified portfolio. “The wealth management industry has for too long been on the precipice of UMAs fulfilling their promise of simplicity and efficiency. Today, Vestmark is fulfilling that promise,” said our CEO Karl Roessner. “We’re honored to collaborate with iCapital, BlackRock, and Dynasty Financial Partners to bring this long-awaited and truly innovative solution to fruition.” Many thanks to our collaborators and their contributions to bring this capability to the industry!
Last month, members of our team joined Habitat for Humanity to help build homes that provide stability and new beginnings for families in need. Our CEO Karl Roessner recently wrote a Fast Company article on six tips for leaders who want to build a dream team. “The first thing I do is listen. Talk to the existing team and to the people who report to them. If you come in thinking you know everything or are already planning to bring in 'your people,' then you’re doing yourself, your company, and your employees a disservice."
Our Chief AI & Innovation Officer, Leo Schrantz, was featured in Built In Boston to share how we approach AI in wealth management. It’s not just about saving time. The Vestmark team spent Earth Day cleaning up around neighboring Lake Quannapowitt. 🌍 Earth Day is a reminder that environmental responsibility starts at the local level. Taking care of the places we live, work, and unwind matters, and we’re proud to do our part. Thanks to everyone who showed up to make a local impact!
“We have observed the evolution of the wealth management landscape and realized there is a new class of large wealth firms — and they face challenges that require an updated approach. That starts with the advisor,” said Karl Roessner, our CEO. In his latest blog, Karl identifies 5 major trends converging and, in the process, reveals new opportunities. In every case, one theme stands out: improving the advisor experience is key to firm success.
During Women’s History Month, we had the privilege of hosting an incredible event with SheTO, where we explored Leadership for High-Performing Teams. It was an inspiring evening filled with real, vulnerable, and solution-driven conversations—true to SheTO’s mission of empowering women+ in Engineering, Product Management, and Project Management. The International Women’s Day theme for this year, hashtag#AccelerateAction, highlights the importance of driving progress in gender equality. Events like these provide a space to share insights, discuss challenges, and explore solutions that help advance leadership opportunities for women+ in tech. We’re also excited to celebrate the launch of SheTO’s Boston Hub, expanding their community and impact to even more women+ in technology leadership. Thank you to SheTO and all who attended for a meaningful and thought-provoking discussion. Let’s keep the momentum going!
