What's summer without a charity picnic? Our Waukesha location recently threw a BBQ fundraiser for employees to support Rogers Behavioral Health, a nationwide mental health and addiction treatment facility headquartered in the greater Milwaukee region — raising money and awareness for mental health. With every bite of BBQ goodness and cornhole throw, Wells came together to make a difference in our community. Ultimately, Wells team members donated over $3,400 with a company match! Together, through open workplace discussions and financial support, we are slowly breaking the stigma surrounding mental health and promoting a brighter, healthier future for all. #SupportingMentalHealth #CommunitySupport Also, congrats to the Cornhole tournament winners!
Last week, our field services team in Brighton participated in OSHA National Safety Stand-Down to prevent falls in construction. The day consisted of discussions about how to inspect, maintain and properly store your harness, aerial lift safety, ladder safety and stopping fall hazards. Safe is our most important core value at Wells and educating our team members on how to work safely is integral to who we are! #StandDown4Safety
It's Women in Construction Week! This week celebrates confident women breaking the stigma about the construction industry. Did you know Wells has over 130 female team members across the U.S., working in a variety of roles from manufacturing to executive? #WomenInConstructionWeek #EmpoweringWomen #WellsWomen
At Wells, we wholeheartedly believe in giving back to our communities. Following our November food drive, our Waukesha office participated in The Salvation Army's Angel Giving Tree program — a gift drive that donates toys and winter clothing to local children whose families are struggling to make ends meet this holiday season. Our Waukesha office proudly helped 50 children this season in our community!
Safety is one of Wells Core Values, so when our Albany manufacturing facility had a record safety month, we did a reward lunch, served by our leadership. Thank you to our employees for all that you do to help make Wells a safe place to work!
It's been a long road to get where we are today. To celebrate 70 successful years as trailblazers in our industry, Wells hosted a virtual 5K event, supporting well-being for team members across the country — at their own pace. Everyone who participated received bonus paid time off along with a custom Wells medal to celebrate this personal accomplishment, and their part in our company's success. Thank you to our team and the many partners who continue to cheer us on. #LifeAtWells
