A big round of applause goes out to James Weichel, our Texas Division Manager. He was recently awarded the Citizen of the Year at the 52nd Annual Metrocrest Chamber of Commerce Awards. Hats Off to you James for the work you’ve done in your community!
Finding a “best employer” used to be hard, but not anymore! Forbes just named us as one of America’s Best Employers. See what goes into making WaFd Bank a great place to work! https://www.wafdbank.com/about-us/best-employer
January foundation awards photo dump coming in! A big congratulations to all of our grant recipients. We’re proud to support the amazing work of our local non-profits that help keep our communities thriving.
We are humbled to be listed as one of America’s Best Employers as announced by @Forbes today. We owe this to every single one of our employees who have stuck with us during the pandemic and the great resignation. We are strong because of YOU! https://lnkd.in/g_fViCuN @Forbes #BestEmployer #BusinessNews #BizNews
The season of giving is year-round if you ask us and in December we went all out! Our WaFd Foundation was busy delivering $105,000 in grants to organizations in our communities.
Wishing you a safe and happy new year!

The best thing you can do this holiday season for your friends, family and neighbors is to shop locally. Not only does this help prevent delayed deliveries but also boosts your community’s economy. #supportsmallbusiness
November is Native American Heritage Month and we are recognizing some of our exceptional Native American bankers at WaFd Bank. #NativeAmericanHeritageMonth
What an eventful week it has been for our Western Idaho bankers. Our team came together to volunteer at the United Way’s Holiday Helper and Rake Up Boise and assembled 3,500 care packages for families in need and cleaned up senior and disabled community members’ yards. Way to show up and represent WaFd Bank! 👏
