Walser's newly established Veterans at Walser Employee Resource Group hosted a Veterans Day Lunch last Monday at Walser Toyota Bloomington.The event brought together service members and supporters from across the organization to discuss how Walser can further strengthen its support for the military community. We were honored to have representatives from two outstanding veteran-focused nonprofits, Folds of Honor and Every Third Saturday, who shared insights into their missions and the impactful work they do. Two weeks ago marked a huge milestone for our newest facility, Walser Toyota Bloomington! Toyota’s national, regional, and financial executives joined us to experience the state-of-the-art location firsthand, along with representatives from our banking partners, local technical schools, industry collaborators, and the City of Bloomington. The Walser Automotive Service Lab is here! 🔧 We're teaming up with WSU Tech and WKI Kenworth to tackle the growing technician shortage. Last week, we celebrated WSU Tech's $3M renovation to expand its automotive programs. Our team from the Walser Auto Campus | Wichita was there in full force to support this amazing update. 🥳 This partnership supports both new and seasoned technicians, providing hands-on training in a cutting-edge facility, including a heavy truck lab and 72-person lecture hall. Funded in part by the Walser Foundation, this collaboration ensures we’re building a strong talent pipeline to meet the industry's workforce needs.
