Iconic intern alert! Elijah Rutland is in his third successive internship with Warner Bros. & will have started his own multidisciplinary art company, completed a Beats By Dre Program, and worked on three different Warner Bros. productions all before his graduation this year. His invaluable experiences helped bring out the self-confidence he needed to realize his dreams. "Being black in an overwhelmingly predominantly white industry—I kind of questioned, 'how did I get here, do I belong here,' that sort of thing. Eventually, I got more comfortable and didn't feel like that anymore. I realized I had all the skills necessary to do the job. One of the biggest things was that the internships gave me much clarity in terms of what I do like and what I don't, what I want to do and then what I'm capable of."

"As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, home entertainment became the backbone for many people. I love seeing stuff we do for DC in real life, like their animated movies. I can point the artwork out on a 'Justice Society: World War II' DVD to my mom at Target and be like 'I did that.'" - Ashley Lefevre, Coordinator, WB Home Entertainment
