👟This month, Zuora had the pleasure of sponsoring 41 ZEOs in the Chennai Marathon. This event raised proceeds for children living with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) to provide insulin and other supplies. Shivakumar Jayaraman, VP, Software Engineering, said, “For me, the real fun part is running with others, so if you need someone to walk/run/wait by your side, I am happy to be part of a small train that goes together until the finish line. We recently wrapped our annual Kiva campaign, where ZEOs helped individuals, families, and micro businesses around the 🌎 who don’t have access to banks or mainstream capital. A small loan can be life-changing for these borrowers who use the funds to pay for equipment to grow their business, tuition to further their education, or cover medical expenses. We were at Nasdaq today to ring the opening 🔔 and celebrate #GivingTuesday alongside other Pledge 1% companies! When we joined Pledge 1%, we committed to leverage our resources for good and give back to our communities around the 🌎. 15 years ago, Zuora was born out of a vision that we could help companies shift from one-time, individual product sales to delivering people-centric services and experiences through recurring revenue business models. We called this shift the #SubscriptionEconomy. Over the years, the Subscription Economy has continued to grow, and Zuora has transformed along with it.
