Our Veterans Employee Resource Group recently joined the Flags For Fort Snelling initiative to place flags on the headstones at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. Volunteers from all over the Twin Cities area worked together to ensure flags were placed on each headstone in the cemetery. The nVent Veterans ERG represents veterans of all military services, advocating for nVent employees serving in the Reserve or National Guard, and building awareness of the unique perspectives and skills veterans bring to the workplace. Our Grass Roots Employee Resource Group (ERG) recently completed a several month cleanup campaign in honor of Earth Day. Grass Roots held 19 events across 7 countries with more than 300 volunteers. Our Connecting Cultures Employee Resource Group recently had a great opportunity to serve Common Hope through the Gift of Hope Project. Common Hope promotes hope and opportunity in Guatemala by partnering with children, families and communities who want to participate in a process of development to improve their lives through education, health care, housing and family development. The Gift of Hope Project provides birthday cards and presents for children in Guatemala. Our team of 28 wrote more than 80 birthday cards and wrapped 70 books.
