Introducing sub-6 GHz RF switches targeted for #5G massive MIMO base stations. By using the new high linearity switches in hybrid architecture topologies, base station designers can save valuable board space and improve thermal management, reducing the overall system’s cost, weight and power consumption. The SP4T switches deliver best-in-class linearity, insertion loss and power handling performance to improve spectral efficiency in sub-6 GHz active antenna systems. As the industry leader in RF and mmWave switching, we continue to push the boundaries of SOI technology and design RFIC solutions that empower base station OEMs and support the demands of 5G and beyond. pSemi cleans up the coast! In early August, more than 30 pSemi employees met at La Jolla Shores Beach to participate in a beach cleanup event. For two hours, employees walked the shoreline, parking lot and picnic areas picking up debris with company-provided gloves, trash bags and garbage pickers. A 2015 research report estimated that the amount of plastic waste entering the oceans averaged 8.4 million metric tons (18.5 billion pounds) per year. We'll continue to do our part to keep our beaches clean and care for our local environment.
