I don't know where these other people work but Accenture health plans have a very high out of pocket maximum. My current PPO plan has a family OOPM of 6,700.00. I currently make 49K so that is more than 10% of my yearly pay. That is only medical expenses. If you opt for FSA, they don't contribute anything to that amount.

Health insurance matches or exceeds previous employers and supports me, as well as my family. It is not a one size fits all approach which I appreciate! I am able to make decisions based on my personal preference and situation.
