Most projects implement work-life balance initiatives where you can work from home one week per month, but this really depends on the partner on the account and their level of comfort with it. Alternatively, almost every project lets you work from home on Fridays which is a great perk.

Depends on what project you're working on, but most projects allow for work from home given an acceptable reason. For long-term projects, this appears to be at the discretion of managers (unless there is an established "Work From Home" ongoing schedule.)
