I get a delegated 1 day per week, every week. And, if I need to stay home due to medical reasons, they are 100% okay with a valid medical note. If I have something else I need to do, I discuss it with my direct manager and normally I am approved to work from home for the day.

I usually worked from home 2-3 days per week. I'd often work long hours but it'd was nice not needing to commute every day!
