Very comprehensive vision, dental, medical plans. Not a single bad thing to say about it.

Another area where Amex falls short is in its health care options. The costs are higher compared to other financial companies like BOA, Chase, and Wells, and you have to pay out of pocket for some things even with the moderate plan. Health care is a critical benefit, and I feel that Amex could do better in providing comprehensive coverage that meets the employees' needs at a reasonable cost.

Health insurance is pretty standard. The companies pays for a good portion of the monthly premium. If you have an HSA they contribute $400 annually

Since they give you 3 options, generally I think it works for most people. However, if you have any consideration towards elder care, there isn’t much you can do even if they are your dependent.

HDHP plan with an HSA. It's not great honestly. Could be better
