Recently changed to a high deductable with HSA, premiums are higher than they were with a zero deductable plan the year before.

The new high-deductible plan that is all that's available for Washington, D.C., metro area staff has already caused us major problems - a family member's single medication for one month is costing us $1,200+ in January, because it's not considered covered until after our deductible has been met. And this is under the PLATINUM plan. Deductibles for the two lower levels are even higher. PLUS the cost per month is more than under our last plan too (a PPO with a low deductible). I would not recommend anyone come work at Booz Allen anymore unless he or she is completely unemployed. The health benefits are now terrible (although I guess they are better than nothing).

Booz Allen switched from top tier health insurance plans with no annual deductible to minimum of a $1,300 deductible per year before benefits are paid. High deductible and high monthly premium. The real burden is on women during pregnancy. The medical cost of having a child went from a few hundred dollars to over $1300.

Great Health Insurance in my region of the Central/South. No issues with any doctors or health care programs whether selecting them or while being treated by them.
