Extremely expensive. If you need anything done, whether it's bloodwork, a procedure, having a baby, etc, you'll be paying for an extremely long time to pay off the debt. When you sign up for the insurance, they show you what your potential out-of-pocket was. To have a baby it is $13,500 out of pocket as of 2020.
