You get what you pay for

3,000 dollar deductible. Over $130 per paycheck.

Does not cover maternity visits such as blood work, ultrasounds.

I have better insurance than my mom, but I also work at a union store.

High deductible health plan with a narrow network. Expected better from a health care company.

The premiums are eminently reasonable, and they'd better be, for what they pay.

You do have a high deductible plan that combines medical and prescription benifits. But you also have a HSA account used for medical costs. You have free drug list on most generics. Some brands are covered at 20 %. And speciality medications are covered at $100.00. And of course you can get a 3 month supply of your prescription drugs. Which I have really enjoyed.
