It seems pretty standard to me. Compared to other places I've worked the options and costs are about the same. I rarely use my health insurance so I haven't noticed any important differences.

The health plans have several options, but like all the companies, they try to push you into a high-deductible plan to force you to pay most of the cost of your care. Don't go for it if you anticipate high medical costs.
