Sick Leave

You do get like 80-120 hours sick time to use and accrue each paycheck, slowly. Its not immediate, might be 30-90 days.

You can call them and notify if situation is sudden.

Time benefits average, determined by years of service and hours worked. Unusable unless calling off sick or prolonged illness. Unable to cash in the benefits, even at a discounted amount. Most employees "max out" these hours and lose additional benefit after a few years of service, due to lack of prolonged illness.

After 2 days of sick time employees must report to Employee Health for a Return to Work Authorization. 3 days requires a physicians approval. 3 absences during a 6-month period may be grounds for dismissal.

Can't use if you're not sick. Should use just total PTO.

You get separate sick and vacation time.

You can get fired for using sick time.

hard to use can easily get fired for doing so.

Awful. Hard to use. Terrible Company.
