Health care in Anchorage wasn't as good as it was for employees elsewhere. In general, the benefits are on par with peer companies.

I have not found anything wrong with COP's health insurance. It has been great to me and easy to use!

They only charge a little for the basic HDHP Aetna plan.

Very good options including HDHP which they contribute an amount to the HSA.

Loved the zero-cost HDHP and $500 contribution to HSA. Had other options for PPO and EPO but I never used them. Provider is Aetna.

The plan is low cost and is a high deductible plan. Works for people who rarely get sick or hurt. HSA helps save for times when one does need medical treatment, and the high pay makes it not a big deal. Wouldn't be good for people with large families.
