You can often work from home. Which is good because you'll be working a lot of weekends for free on proposals and other things to build their business. Since you are on salary, it will be free for them.

As long as you can get the work done, you dont have to be at the office all the time. However, there are meetings that you are supposed to be on site and meet with the client. Certain observation of documentation that would also need you to go to the office to obtain.

My group can work from home 1-2 days per week which is a nice benefit. You have to be in the position 1 year before you can start working from home.
