ExxonMobil is a collaborative work environment. Working from home is possible (and sometimes the rule) for some jobs (e.g. marketing), but for projects and operations, working from home is staying connected via a smart phone or laptop after an 8-10 hour day. Managers typically allow work from home on a limited basis, but I never saw this a problem.

This really depends on your supervisor and the role that you are in. If you are in a operations role it is impossible to work from home. If you are in another type of role, supervisor may allow you to work from home in certain occasions.

If you have a personal issue and need to work from home it is normally ok as long as you get your work done.
