Poor quality of coverage, but they try and convince you otherwise.

Way below par for Austin. The only options are a high deductible plan, and a PPO that isn't much better. Also, they use Cigna which seems to be losing providers, and fights hard not to have to pay for anything.

I like the benefits. I have 2 kids. I pay 1400 out of pocket before the copay. After the $1400, it goes to a 90/10.

Health insurance deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums are high. Add that to high premiums regardless of whether you choose the HDHP or PPO and you have a terrible medical plan.

quality and options of healthcare are poor compared to other high technology companies. Not competitive at all for washington DC area.

Websense health insurance is awful. The first year, we had California BCBS, then the next year we had Cigna. Cigna has mandatory waiting periods for coverage so you never qualify for anything other than a check-up. Both plans are far worse than typical BCBS Texas plans.

There were a lot of options. I chose the cheapest option, Kaiser HMO, and I was overall satisfied with it. Very little out of pocket expense.
