Work From Home

Great WFH allowance, at least 2 days/week

Varies wildly across departments. For an average, I would say 1 day/week is typical.

Depends on your group and manager. But typically Fridays are a work from home day, especially if you work on the global side of the business.

It was allowed, and saved hours of travel when I did work from home. I had a light weight laptop, and could set up as many WebEx meetings as I needed.

Great program for those folks who live far away and will help with traffic!

If you have the right manager, you have the ability to work from home when you want to, but it's not like that in all departments.

Typical pharma - discouraged, frowned upon. Some managers may be supportive - in case of emergencies! Others will ask you your work plans for the day - archaic. They have a good policy on paper but no incentive to implement it!
