Job Training

The training itself, depending on the course, is good to excellent. Too bad so much unpaid training is required on proprietary software.

The training is very low cost. And the training is morning noon or night. Work hours are our own to schedule.

There are many options depending on the topic about which you would like to learn more. There are also a variety of ways to learn the material - online and at your own pace, virtual online classrooms that are instructor lead, or instructor lead at an H&R Block location.

Much depends on the office but we had a very good program that covered both the company software and tax law

Very rushed during training and expected us to know everything on a rushed pace.

There are alot of online courses you can take during the slow time that helps you increase your knowledge.

Best - All basic topics are covered and various ways to learn was used (virtual, instructor led and online self-study). Prepares you well for the Federal and state courses

The classes are "free" but you will not get any work books or handouts, you have to print them out at home if you want the study guides or workbooks. They will not even let you print them out at the office.
