Free tax preparation and great matching 401K. Vacation is not earned or tracked, so that's good and flexible if you have a supportive boss, but that also means vacation can't be accrued and unsupportive bosses may not allow you to take the time you need when you need it.

I had to ask around and learn for myself. No formal training. There is a set policy handbook. I'm a fast learner, but I could see how the lack of better training could frustrate workers, which impacts productivity.

Job training should be longer. The company should include more role-playing for the new staff members and more practice on the software.

Not enough initial training for the CSP's (Receptionists). If you not are performing up to their standards on other jobs, no extra training or good coaching to improve. They will just work it to give you lesser responsibility instead of helping you correct your shortcomings.,

They do a great job in teaching you what you need to know. You even have to pass a test to become certified before you can see clients.

Training is on your own time and unpaid. Training for Block job functions is paid at just above minimum wage. Company charges employees $35 a year to access job training.
