Bonus changes year, because short tax pros this year they were paid bonuses to jusst make it through the season. Others in prior years received no bonus no matter how much of their own time they used to train up.

Impossible to achieve - would need to work a tax return every hour you are there to hit the target.

As I approach the end of my second year I was recently told that i would not be receiving a bonus.. I feel i was misled about the commission bonus.. I nearly tripled what i made the previous year but was told that because i didnt do alot of high paying returns there was little to no chance of a bonus... Very bad ethics on H & R BLOCK.. don not ever work for them unless you want to work hours outside your commitment and not get anything for it oh also they take your previous higher paying clients from you . Simply deceptive work ethics and total disregard for the clients

At the end of your 10months, at your end of season review some departments give a performance bonus. It's based on your performance rating.

They pay the bonuses as promised. You cannot ask for more than that. Although the franchise half steps on the bonus date

This is HR Block's way of hiding any raises. They subtract all the time you spend working from the bonus. If you do not increase your client base every year and you sit on all this dead time, there will be no bonus and you can expect a pay cut of 20%.
