Working at Holiday Inn Express means the hotel is an IHG property so if you work for IHG they give you an employee discount when staying at any IHG property all around the world. If you have enough rewards points accumulated then you can use those instead of booking employee rate. If you do not have enough points then you can purchase some of you can see if the property you want to stay at has any employee rate nights available. It’s nice to have, especially if you have to go out of town for anything or take a vacation. The only bad thing about the program is hotels only have a certain amount of rewards nights(points) and employee rate nights available for each night. So if you want to take a vacation to the beach or somewhere then you have to usually book a year in advance so you can get it.

The discount isn't much across properties. The manager at this location is nice and will let you stay on property if needed.
