IHG requires online classes, in person training is up to whichever coworker trains you.

The best thing is it's on the job training.

Good job training within the timeframe you are there. Good trainers to help with learning. I liked the staff I worked with and enjoyed the job. Definitely think they need more written procedures. Will like to be more digital

Computer boring training. I wasn't even a "Real MANAGER", HOWEVER I had to train all new hires for 2 weeks.

We get the bare minimum training to do the job hired for. not any room for Moving up in the company so no reason to train us for much more.

Job training included 3-7 days of long term housekeeper assisted training. Teaching you IHG 5 way of clean and all room amenities. Only drawback was each time someone new was hired, the on site employees available for training, were always different. So, work efficiency is at times affected in small part due to short handed, experienced staff available to train newcomers.

The girl who trained me had only been employed for about a month. They can't keep people long enough to have an experienced housekeeper to train new employees

The best part is that it is one on one and an easy environment to learn in. The worst is probably they don't have a lot of training courses on the software they use.
