We went from BCBS to cigna or united during th eLapborp switch. Not only inferior providers but definitely inferior benefits package comparatively. corporate keeps spewing "Industry standard" as their reason. Well guess what? I didn't choose this job because it was "industry standard"

The worst most basic and expensive plan currently allowed by law. You're better off working elsewhere and getting on a state sponsored plan.

Multiple choice and fairly low cost

The price is significantly deductible is going from $500 to $4500 for 2017 and max oop $2500 to $10,000 for basically the same cost.

Good insurance, but high deductible at $1,500. We rarely meet our minimum, but eye coverage is good, Labs are free, well visits are covered.

Labcorp keeps employee portion very low if you meet the health requirements
