Many hoops to jump through, will create rates based on your BMI, only utilizes OptumRX, coverage does not work with local HMOs, and high deductible plans are the only options.

New health insurance plans only benefit healthy people. If you have a condition requiring care from specialists, look elsewhere.

Okay, and can get good coverage, but very pricey, not best in market.

The health insurance was good before Labcorp take over. I would say it was gender neutral at that point. However after Labcorp it has become much more difficult for women. You now must opt in and pay for a leave of absence which starts at 40% of your typical pay for your first few years of employment. Women that have degrees typically want to start having families shortly after finding a steady income. Covance makes those dreams difficult to achieve.

Recently made changes to health insurance, requires annual screenings and a lot of extra submissions to receive best premium rates

The two options for health insurance have drawbacks. One is a closed network that has very few options for doctors, the other requires mail order prescriptions and does not cover many drugs.

Best thing is they changed to a program that requires employees be actively working to improve their health... worst thing is that was a traumatic change after many years of status quo, and is taking getting used to.

Everything about the health insurance is terrible.
