The plan is a preferred provider option (PPO) design, offered to eligible employees scheduled and working 20 or more hours per week. You may also enroll your eligible dependents.

Three years ago, employees had multiple options including one which was a bit more expensive but extremely comprehensive. Currently, there is only one plan offered and the deductibles are so high as to rendered it unaffordable for anyone who requires (or has a family member who requires) ongoing care or specific medication to treat a chronic condition.
