"50% match up to 8%, plus 6% on top, for a grand total of 10%. This is outstanding and I do not know of anyone who tops that. If you make $100 and max out your 401k, you're putting away $28k a year."

Time off is the best, and they have a great 401K matching program. The Health benefits are a little tricky in what they cover and which things go toward "in-network" and out-of-network" high deductible plans.

The coverage is expensive and the deductible is so high I couldn't afford to go to the doctor.

Best thing about Lockheed's benefit package is that it is available, it's unfortunate there is limited training on the meaning of some of these benefits.

There are no drawbacks to the benefits package. Great personally managed retirement program, all the holiday hours you would need and PTO computed on a weekly basis.

Best - Every other Friday off, flexible schedule & telecommuting if you have a progressive boss, paid overtime for salaried, non-management employees. Worst - all of the "best" benefits are dependent upon the manager. Some managers just do not believe in flex time or approving OT, so even if you are required to work 60hrs a week, you cannot get any OT or come in late without criticism. Whereas other departments approve all OT pay even if you are just inefficient and can't get a 40hr job done in less than 60hrs. The inconsistencies and fact that some employees get better benefits because they have a better manager is infuriating

best: unlimited sick time (after a certain number of days the short-term disability kicks in)

The general benefits are great but are being reduced due to cost cutting efforts. The reductions have increased over the last couple of years.

High deductibles, ok benefits but not something to be super excited about.

Great benefits package, although I paid more out of pocket for health insurance than my previous job. The dental insurance was amazing.
