"50% match up to 8%, plus 6% on top, for a grand total of 10%. This is outstanding and I do not know of anyone who tops that. If you make $100 and max out your 401k, you're putting away $28k a year."

Benefits package not bad, however when they changed their medical insurance the coverage was horrible and the cost went up. It was so bad I got off their insurance and got my own insurance that was better and less expensive.

Benefits package at Lockheed Martin IS&GS was commensurate with most defense contractors. Provided a choice of plan and administrations.

I personally thought the benefit package was "spot on"! No, issues whatsoever.

Health insurance coverage is ok, as long as you don't have to use it. Once your healthfund is used, payments can get expensive until your deductibles are met. No primary care physician approvals required for seeing a specialist. Can pretty much see any doctor, but will pay more for out of plan.

Very good benefits package in general. Unfortunately, they decided to phase out the defined benefits pension plan. First for new hires and returning laid off workers and eventually for all employees.

LM has the best benefits package and perks of any company I have ever worked with.
