401K Plan

"50% match up to 8%, plus 6% on top, for a grand total of 10%. This is outstanding and I do not know of anyone who tops that. If you make $100 and max out your 401k, you're putting away $28k a year."

As a contractor , had to pay majority of the benefits with little government assistance. And at the time, the PM of the contract kept salaries frozen for 4 years but benefits kept rising out of our own pockets.

I did enjoy the benefits. No doubt about that. I had healthcare, vision, dental, company match savings account. After working an year, I over 5,000 in savings account. (I only put in 2% of my salary).

Not offering a pension plan. A pension plan is only available for the select few business units. Savings plan doesn’t come close to a pension.

Best: I started working there when they still had a defined-benefit pension. They also have a 401k program with contribution matching.
Worst: choices of health insurance is very limited.
