401K Plan

MetLife matches 4% of base salary if employee contributes a minimum of 5% towards 401(k). It is a decent benefit and if one can contribute more than minimum that would be great. If annual salary is more than certain amount the max employee contribution is limited to 10%. Chose aggressive portfolio and you can make above 8% annual return.

I am an aggressive investor with my 401K. I have been there 2.5 years I am full vested and also have made average of 10% on my investment.

Since I never participated in a 401k plan before I have no means to make a comparison. Other employees seem to be happy with this plan.

Average. It matched certain percentage. It was not the greatest, but not bad either.
