I believe the 4% match is pretty standard, and the company also has a defined benefit plan on top of the standard 401(k) plan, which I believe is fairly unique and rare. The biggest "negative" of the 401(k) plan are that there aren't very many fund options, like Vanguard, Fidelity, etc. Instead, you basically have one option per investment fund style/type (i.e. on large cap growth fund, one small cap value fund, one international fund, etc.), and these are generally managed in-house by the internal Investments group. These funds generally appear to be managed in an indexing manner, so their returns closely track/mirror their respective indices.
