The best part is that there are two plans to choose from, and with one of them, Microsoft will contribute to an HSA for a portion of your health expenses.

The best part of the health insurance was the extra money they would kick in for the HSA plan every year. The worst part was that they moved us over from the "cadilliac plan" (you never pay anything out of pocket, no paperwork) over to the HSA plans (you pay some deductibles sometimes, lots more paperwork).
One really great thing is that they had a doctor's office and pharmacy on campus (Redmond, WA) exclusively for employee use.

Benefits have moved from "best in the industry" to satisfactory with more cost sharing required by employees.

Great coverage, but these days they started kind of cost sharing. we used to have 100% covered benefit before a couple years ago

It used to be better, with 100% coverage, but was levelled with market average couple of years back.
It's still one of the best though.

Overall good plan. You get one free check-up, one prescription eye glasses (within certain price limit), 2 basic dental exam. There are more benefits detail but since i did not use it I can't comment on this.

Solid, covers 100% of most things and because MSFT contributes to your HSA you never have to pay more than a few thousand dollars (which would be case of a catastrophic illness) They covered a percentage of our adoption, have great on-call nurse access, and much more. Could only better if they paid 100% of everything.

use of Group Health of Premera Blue cross allows for a large selection of health providers to choose from.
