Work From Home

All field sales folks work from home. Oracle like most companies has blurred the line between work and free time. Field sales should expect to have to take phone calls up to midnight anytime it is needed to get a deal done. Working weekends is required if you want to be successful.

A lot of people can work from home at will per manager's approval

If your job is appropriate to work from home, that is not a problem but Oracle no longer pays for internet service as they did for many years.

It depends on the team you work with and your manager. It's usually possible for reasons such as doctor appointments, etc.

Majority if not all positions are within the office. Field Sales positions are work from home

A team was recently laid off because the manager forced them to move to CA and come in to the office every day. The flexibility to telecommute was the biggest perk and selling point about Oracle.

This varies from team to team and your job role, but most groups seem open to letting employees work from time on occasion when needed. Full time working from home still appears to be rare in the US.
