Best thing in the HSA money they contribute in a lump sum at the beginning of the year. Relatively low premiums.

Raytheon just got rid of their tradition insurance option. It's now an HSA or nothing. They claim it was due to the ACA "Cadillac Plan" limits -- but that is $27,000 for a family, and only executives get that kind of insurance. It was blatantly obvious that the company wanted you in the HSA plans. Every year they provided "help" in choosing a plan, and it ALWAYS said you were better off going with the HSA. But if you tried entering you own cost scenario (based off you typical costs or just about any random values) the traditional insurance was better. Makes you wonder how much more the executives got in their pockets by tricking you into the HSA plans.

Obamacare has limited all options. But Raytheon has an option that beats my former employer.
