Fully remote work, occasional travel to different red hat locations for meetings

Vacation policy is good, although no carryover PTO. They have quarterly recharge days, which are extra days off.

Before COVID, almost 30% of the company was remote. We do remote quite well. The vast majority of US employees are still remote. New employees can expense home office setup costs for desk, chair, monitor, etc (up to some dollar amount - which I don't know off the top of my head, but wasn't very high.) Sr management is starting to make noise about getting back to the office, but I don't expect them to "force" it anytime in the foreseeable future.

Had a hybrid work schedule

Red Hat have been leaders in remote working for decades, and the vast majority of positions are available in office or working from home at the employee’s choice.

You'll be burned out, feel like you're not part of the team, unless you're in Boston or Raleigh you won't be getting promoted or any good face time with the people you need to.

I WFH personally so it's pretty good
