It has degraded over the years to high deductible plan with health savings account. It may be slightly better than Obamacare, but not much. Expect to take increasing amounts away from your 401K to fund this HSA account as the deductibles increase and company contribution decreases

Premiums have doubled since I started 4 years ago. In the same time, the coverage amounts have dropped significantly. For example, the total cost of pregnancy and childbirth in 2012 was under $500. In 2015 it was over $5000.
