The problem is with the insurance industry. The company paid well for the benefits but there can't always be one plan no matter how well you try to pick.
The variety offered by SAIC was diverse and competitive in the industry for the area. Maybe better.

You get a $4 an hour stipend for health insurance. If you opt-in SAIC will take all of this money and depending on the coverage you choose may have to pay more out of your base pay. Better price and coverage options in the marketplace.
