Plan is essentially a self insurance plan with catastrophic coverage above a high deductible. Rates are high for this kind of plan.

VERY high deductibles - Must pay deductibles FIRST before any costs will be covered and then insurance still will cover 80% of the cost. This benefit was more costly than my last employer!

I had no complaints with SAIC and its benefits package. I would always choose the HMO for the sake of convenience, and I had a doctor at Kaiser that I was found of. I especially loved the one stop for everything
