Worked remote the entire time I worked for this employer, it was never a problem and never a concern. The restrictive IT was a little ridiculous but I think that comes with a company so large (you just learn to work around it.)

They are very flexible. You can work from home when you need to, just have to work with your manager to make sure there is no disruption.

You Can Work from home and it is fine as my SVP is located in San Diego and I am in San Francisco, we work remotely, but I do try to come into the office every day. Sometimes I work from home in the morning from 8-9 then come into the office at 10.

Many people take full advantage of working from home. However, some managers don't like it so don't allow as much flexibility.

SAP offers a great flexibility, including work from home.
In SAP Labs Palo Alto people usually come to the office twice a week, not more.

This is manager dependent; some teams do not have work from home unless there is a need (weather, building out). However, many teams have a day a week or are completely virtual. It is especially convenient in inclement weather, so you can still have all of your meetings without risking your life in the snow.
