While legally they do have to pay for health insurance I see room for improvement in the future.

BC/BS of IL offers a good plan and State Farm subsidizes a significant portion of the premium

Like any other health plan, deductibles are high, when the premium is low.

Excellent. No complaints. Due to a detached retina, I had to be out of work for three months and never missed a paycheck and medical bills were taken care with the exception of the employee's portion. The employee's portion, once meeting deductible was fair and in line with other companies.

Benefits ok - high deductible(s) and not many plans to choose from.

PPO plan is very competitive and affordable. Make sure you create a savings plan for high deductibles.

Its top of the line health insurance even if you take the minimum package. They offer dental for a very affordable rate too.

They are about standard for the industry

For an insurance company who also has a health insurance line, they had very high premiums with high deductibles. They use BCBS.
