You have regular PSL days and if you exceed 5 sick days within a year they advise that you file for FMLA benefits

the number of sick days grows each year you are there up to a certain point. You start out with 20 and max out at over 200. However, if you use more than 2 at a time you have to have a Dr's note which if your actually sick isn't a problem most of the time.
