Premium health insurance means premium costs coming out of your pocket, an additional spouse or dependent will double your cost

I am certain that this is common for larger companies that have a mature workforce, and what I have found is a general lack of quality specialty doctors available. This is a company self-insurance model, with an insurance company managing the plans, so it appears that this is the minimum that they can offer legally.

Not too many things not covered by insurance plans, was a pain to have insurance company follow up on claims.

The employee cost is reasonable for the benefits covered

Free for union employees there.

Thankfully I never had to use it, but it was free

It is completely free for union employees, and very understandable.

I think UPS has one of the best insurance as they are self insured.

Used to be very good but has steadily declined over past 2 years
