The health insurance package is the best benefit offered at UPS. It is made affordable and coverers every need of the employee.

They are about like any other major company in terms of benefits. When I moved on to another company they immediately sent me info abt how to transfer my 401k

It was awesome when I first started, but as is the case with most major corporations, the overall benefits have been in decline year over year.

So far the coverage is good with no premium, and lowner Co pays. But with the union contract being reviewed every 4-5 years, the baday thing is that could change.

It is rare for employers to offer healthcare to part-time employees especially when Obamacare makes it mandatory for full-time employment. Most employers will only do the bare minimum to comply with the law.

The cost of health insurance goes up every year for the employee even if you choose to elect a health savings account. In addition, they don't award you any incentive for not having their health insurance.

For management , they pay a whole lot more than the drivers pay for their health insurance. Management got the short end of the stick.

Full coverage. Preferred the HPO over the PPO though.
