Under the High-3 plan, after 20 years of service, 50% of base pay with 2.5% additional for every year beyond 20. Under the Blended Retirement System (only system available to new employees), 20 years gets a pension that is 40% of base pay, with 2% additional for every year beyond 20; however, there is a retention bonus at 12 years and 401k matching for the BRS (not available for high-3 employees)
