The company employs mentors who assist with job training.

VIPKID can do better ensuring new teachers are more prepared before teaching their first class. The workshops are available, but it's up to the teacher to search for workshops they think they need. There's no mentor or anyone a new teacher can contact when he/she has questions. There's so much information that new teachers often feel overwhelmed.

They have unpaid workshops you can attend to improve your skills in the classroom. Other for profit companies typically pay employees to attend these, however, this for profit company treats us like regular teachers and we do not get paid for extra classroom training just like we don't in any other teaching job.

There are many resources that help you get started and also help you improve the teaching skills you already have.

Tons of "expert" job training, unfortunately NONE of it is paid for and much of it is expected and required to stay competitive as a booked teacher.
