I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at 23andMe (Mountain View, CA)
Interview
Interviewed with about 7-8 different people. Came back for multiple onsites. Entire process took a little more than a month from my last interview until I received an offer.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at 23andMe (Sunnyvale, CA) in Jul 2024
Interview
It was really great and smooth. The recruiter was very nice but I do wish there was more feedback at the end. Also, there’s like three rounds of interviews and a take home exam. In total can take up to 4-6 weeks
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at 23andMe (Mountain View, CA) in Feb 2019
Interview
This was one of the most professional interviews I have ever done. Everyone involved in the process was fantastic.
1. Submitted application
2. Contacted by HR to schedule an interview about 10 days later.
3. Interviewed over the phone with the project manager. Great experience.
4. The next day I was sent a writing sample to complete.
5. Upon submission of the writing sample, I was contacted to do another phone interview (~20min) with the HR/recruiter.
6. The next step would have been on-site interviews but within a week following my interview with the recruiter, I got a phone call saying I did not get the job. I really appreciated that 23andMe personally called and let me know.

Really long process but the HR people are super nice and helpful. Hiring manager super nice as well. Everybody was super super nice! Did not really make it to the in person process. Wish they could tell me the result earlier.
